Ms. Amy Kottler holds an RN degree and practiced nursing in the oncology and cardiology units of a teaching hospital. She also holds an MA in History and is certified in secondary education. Ms. Kottler worked for 13 years in the managed care setting where she directed medical specialty referral and utilization review activities, and developed in-service training programs for professional staff. She later joined the Technology Management Information Exchange (TEMINEX), a health technology assessment program that served a national consortium of health maintenance organizations. She brings more than 19 years of managed care and teaching experience to her role as Director of Horizon Scanning Services.
