Arlene Mann is Director of Guideline Assessment and Development and a Medical Research Analyst for Hayes, Inc. Ms. Mann consults with clients in many sectors of the healthcare industry, creating and maintaining evidence-based medical management guidelines, best-practice criteria, and medical knowledge databases.

Ms. Mann’s professional healthcare background includes biomedical research and over 20 years experience as a registered nurse and manager in clinical and managed care settings. Her interests include population medicine and emerging technology. She continues in active clinical practice, volunteering at a primary-care center for the uninsured.

A member of the American Medical Writers’ Association, Ms. Mann is a graduate of the Chestnut Hill Hospital School of Nursing. Before joining Hayes, she served as Group Health Guidelines Manager for the Center for Clinical Outcomes and Guidelines and Director of Nursing for the Medical Department of Intracorp, a subsidiary of CIGNA Healthcare.
