Sharon T. Constans, RN, MSN has over 20 years experience in nursing, nursing administration, and nursing supervision in the areas of surgical critical care, inpatient parenteral and enteral nutritional support, outpatient IV therapy, nursing staff and patient education, and home health nursing care. She also has considerable experience in new clinical program development and implementation, and clinical customer support in the fields of health technology assessment and independent medical review.

Ms. Constans has a dual role at Hayes Inc., serving as Director of Clinical Research Support and Director of Hayes CARE. Her clinical support responsibilities include management and oversight of a team of nurses specifically dedicated to helping clients use Hayes products more effectively, and providing answers to questions related to new and emerging medical technologies.

Ms. Constans’ clinical support expertise provides the foundation for her role as Director of Hayes CARE, a program designed to provide individualized healthcare information to patients. In this role, she is responsible for the day-to-day management, production, and delivery of patient-specific, objective information addressing health concerns of health plan enrollees in a personalized and confidential manner.

Ms. Constans holds a master’s degree in medical/surgical nursing with clinical specialization in general surgery and critical care and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Virginia School of Nursing.
