The ROI of Evidence

Listen to the recording now!

OVERVIEW
Gaining physician alignment to make supply decisions that drive out waste and deliver high-quality services is critical to hospital systems’ success in conforming to the demands of healthcare reform. Memorial Hermann, the largest not-for-profit health system in Southeast Texas, with 12 hospitals and numerous specialty programs, is one organization that is exceeding its goals as physician leaders embrace advanced practices in healthcare value analysis. The Memorial Hermann process incorporates unbiased evidence of efficacy and safety, operational impact, and return on investment (ROI), both clinical and financial, when evaluating new and existing healthcare technologies. Using this approach, Memorial Hermann has been able to:

  • Nurture physician satisfaction
  • Realize quickly executed, non-salary cost reductions
  • Move patients to safe products
  • Improve operational and clinical efficiencies
  • Achieve sustainable savings

This webinar will feature guest speaker Keith Fernandez, MD, President and Physician in Chief of Memorial Hermann Physician Network, who will explain Memorial Hermann’s process and use real-life examples to demonstrate the outcomes that this healthcare system achieves.
