Winifred Hayes, RN, PhD, ANP, will speak for her fifth year to the Value Analysis organization regarding decision making for medical technology acquisition, standardization, and utilization management.
Scottsdale, AZ—The Association of Healthcare and Value Analysis Professionals (AHVAP), an organization of nurses and supply chain professionals, will hold their 13th Annual Education Conference & Supplier Showcase. For 2016, Dr. Hayes will present “Making Decisions When There Is Poor or Inadequate Evidence: 10 Questions to Ask.”
“With the continued shift toward value-based medicine, the importance of physician engagement with supply chain coordinators to make technology acquisition and utilization decisions cannot be understated,” says Dr. Hayes. “Hayes applauds and supports AHVAP in their efforts to bridge that clinical gap by using evidence-based data.”
Hayes, Inc. is a subscription-based health technology assessment (HTA) firm located in Lansdale, PA. They provide independent, unbiased HTA reports to payers and providers to support the development of coverage police and evidence-based practice. AHVAP recently announced an Agreement for Collaborative Education with Hayes, Inc.
