Renee Balliet Bio

Dr. Renee Balliet is responsible for the rapidly expanding product line of Precision Medicine. This includes critical content clients need when managing genetic and molecular medicine. Her responsibilities include innovation, strategic planning, market evaluation, product enhancements, team management, and ensuring scientific and clinical quality and integrity.

Dr. Balliet has over 15 years of experience in the field of genetics and precision medicine, including evidence evaluation, analysis, and synthesis; consulting; business development; scientific/medical project management; development, presentation, and marketing of scientific information; and preclinical research. In addition, she is skilled in conducting systematic searches of medical literature, genetic databases, and regulatory databases, resulting in over 100 technology assessments. 

Prior to joining Hayes, Dr. Balliet was a Program Administrator for the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR). During her time at AACR, her responsibilities included scientific review of grants and promotional materials, and managing relations between grantees and funders. Dr. Balliet also served as a faculty member at Thomas Jefferson University, where she had authored and co-authored numerous papers in the fields of pharmacogenetics and oncology.

Dr. Balliet earned her BS in Biology from Moravian College and both her PhD in Genetics and her MBA from Pennsylvania State University.
