This report addresses whether full-text clinical studies, systematic reviews, and clinical practice guidelines and position statements support the use of the hybrid autologous chondrocyte implantation (ACI)/osteochondral autograft transfer system (OATS) procedure for treatment of osteochondral defects of the knee in adults. This report does not evaluate ACI or OATS as standalone procedures.
